FAQs

We recommend getting in touch once you have a kitchen plan or rough measurements. This allows us to provide a quote early on, so you can plan your budget and timeline with confidence.
Yes, absolutely. Our team is here to guide you through materials, colours, and finishes to make sure your worktop suits both your style and lifestyle.

The cost of a worktop can vary depending on a few key factors, including the material you choose, the size of your kitchen, and any additional details such as cut-outs, edge profiles, or splashbacks.
We’re happy to work with a range of budgets and can guide you towards options that suit both your design and price expectations. The best way to get started is to request a free quote, and we’ll take care of the rest. If you already have a budget in mind, feel free to share it with us — we’ll help you make the most of it.

Yes, of course. We encourage you to explore different options.

You can request quotes for multiple colours or finishes, making it easy to compare and decide what works best for your space. If you need any guidance, our team is always on hand to help you narrow down your choices.

Yes, we offer a range of sinks, including options from our Lumen collection.

If you choose to purchase a sink from us, it will be delivered at the time of templating. Installation of the sink should be carried out by your plumber or builder.

Your kitchen needs to be fully prepared before templating can take place. This means all base units must be installed, fixed in position, and level.
Any appliances that affect the worktop, such as hobs or sinks, should also be on site so we can ensure everything is measured accurately. Template and Installation guidelines will be sent to you prior to the template and you must ensure your newly installed kitchen is ready for the worktop survey.
If you’re unsure, your project manager will guide you and let you know exactly when you’re ready.

Once your appointment is booked, we will confirm the date with you by email. We’ll contact you the day before, either by phone or email, to confirm the time window for our team’s arrival.

After templating, you have a short window of up to 24 hours to request any final additions. During your templating appointment, you can also choose to include additional features such as:

  • Upstands and splashbacks
  • Sink and hob cut-outs
  • Drainage grooves
  • Window sills
  • Pop-up sockets
  • Custom edge details

Your quote will be updated accordingly and will be confirmed with you. Once your worktops move into fabrication, no further changes can be made, as everything is produced to your exact measurements.

For an average sized kitchen, installation typically takes around 2 to 3 hours. Our team works efficiently while ensuring everything is fitted perfectly.

Once your kitchen is ready for templating, the full process usually takes around two to three weeks. This includes templating, manufacturing, and installation.

Yes, all our worktops come with a lifetime warranty, giving you long-term peace of mind.

Yes, if you need to make changes, simply get in touch with our team and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Appointments can be rearranged free of charge if requested more than 48 hours in advance. If you need to rearrange with less than 48 hours’ notice, a small fee may apply.

You can cancel your order up to 48 hours before your templating appointment and receive a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel after this period but before templating, a partial refund may be issued. Once templating has taken place, the deposit is non-refundable.

Quartz worktops are engineered using a blend of natural quartz and high-performance resins. Most high-quality surfaces contain between 90% and 95% quartz.
Our quartz surfaces are made using an optimal balance of approximately 93% natural quartz, combined with resins and pigments to achieve both durability and a refined finish.

Yes, our quartz worktops are 100% silica-free.
Yes, all our surfaces are carefully selected to meet high safety and quality standards. Our worktops are NSF certified for food safety and Greenguard Gold certified for low emissions, making them suitable for use in kitchens and indoor living spaces.
Quartz is one of the hardest natural materials available, making it an excellent choice for everyday kitchen use. It offers strong resistance to scratches, stains, and impact, and performs exceptionally well compared to many other surface materials. This makes it ideal for busy households where both durability and appearance matter.
For everyday cleaning, all worktop surfaces should be cleaned using warm water and a mild detergent or gentle soapy solution with a soft cloth or non-abrasive sponge. After cleaning, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly using a paper towel or soft cloth to maintain a clean, streak-free finish. Quartz and sintered stone are both low-maintenance surfaces designed for easy day-to-day care, while natural stone requires slightly gentler cleaning using pH-neutral products to help preserve its natural appearance. With proper everyday care, all three materials will maintain their beauty and performance for years to come. As a natural material, some natural stones may subtly develop in appearance over time, with slight changes in tone or character occurring through everyday use and exposure to natural light. This natural ageing process is part of the unique charm and timeless appeal of genuine stone surfaces.
Most everyday stains can be removed using a non-abrasive cleaner like soapy water and a damp cloth. For tougher or dried marks, allow the cleaner to sit on the affected area for a few minutes before gently wiping clean. Quartz and sintered stone are both highly resistant to staining and generally require minimal effort to maintain. Natural stone can be more porous depending on the material and finish selected, so spills should always be cleaned as quickly as possible to reduce the risk of staining. For natural stone surfaces, we recommend using specialist stone-safe cleaning products where necessary. Avoid harsh scouring pads, steel wool, or abrasive cleaners on any surface, as these may damage or dull the finish over time.
Quartz, sintered stone, and natural stone are all durable surfaces designed for everyday kitchen use, however no worktop material is completely scratch proof. Quartz surfaces offer excellent everyday scratch resistance and perform exceptionally well in busy kitchens and food preparation areas. Sintered stone is also highly resistant to scratching and everyday wear, making it a practical and hard-wearing option for modern living. Natural stone performance can vary depending on the type of stone and finish selected, with some materials being more susceptible to scratching than others. To protect the surface finish and maintain the appearance of your worktop, we always recommend using chopping boards and avoiding dragging heavy, rough, or sharp objects directly across the surface.
Quartz, sintered stone, and natural stone all offer good heat resistance for normal kitchen use, however no surface should be considered completely heat proof. Quartz performs well with everyday cookware and appliances, although excessive direct heat or sudden temperature changes may cause damage or discolouration over time. Sintered stone offers exceptional resistance to high temperatures and is particularly well suited to demanding kitchen environments. Natural stone also performs well with heat, although prolonged direct heat exposure may affect the surface or sealant depending on the material selected. For all surfaces, we strongly recommend using trivets or heat pads beneath hot pans, trays, and heated appliances to help protect the worktop and preserve its finish.
Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or strong solvent-based products on any worktop surface, as these may damage the finish or affect the appearance over time. For quartz surfaces, avoid high-alkaline cleaning agents, paint removers, oven cleaners, and products containing harsh solvents or abrasive particles. Products containing powders, waxes, or oily additives should also be rinsed thoroughly to avoid residue build-up. Sintered stone is highly resistant to staining and chemicals, although abrasive pads, steel wool, and hydrofluoric acid-based products should never be used. Natural stone requires the gentlest care of the three materials. Acidic substances such as lemon juice, vinegar, wine, bleach, and harsh chemical cleaners should be avoided, particularly on marble, limestone, and other calcium-based stones, as they may cause etching, dullness, or surface damage. Always use cleaning products specifically recommended for natural stone surfaces.
